Anis Hadj Moussa will remain at Feyenoord for the rest of the season after the Dutch club closed the door on all winter transfer approaches for the highly rated Algerian winger.

“We discussed it with his agent as well as with Anis.”

“A World Cup is approaching, and Anis is progressing steadily with the national team. In this context, it would seem unwise to move to a big club playing in a difficult league.
You never know if you’ll get playing time, and that could jeopardize his participation in the World Cup.”
The comments suggest Feyenoord are keen to protect both the player’s momentum and his visibility at international level, viewing regular football as a priority over a high-profile transfer that may come with uncertainty.

“But it’s no secret: he has ambition, and the club benefits from that as well. It’s not for nothing that we extended his contract.”
