Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly are yet to receive offers for midfielder Imam Ashour in the ongoing transfer window.
Earlier report in the media suggested the record Champions League holders has received numerous offers for their midfielder.
However, sources close to Al Ahly has denied such reports as the club intend to amend and extend his contract. The Egyptian giants view Ashour as an important player and are seeking to him down at the club.
Ashour played just 65 minutes at the FIFA Club World Cup for Al Ahly due to an injury setback. He was subbed off in their opening game against Inter Miami, where his outfit shared the spoils with the MLS club.
The midfielder subsequently missed out on the remaining two group games as his side suffered early elimination.
The 27-year-old midfielder is expected to begin his rehabilitation program to recover from the collarbone fracture sustained at the Club World Cup.
His current contract with the Egyptian giants is expected to elapse in the summer of 2028.
