No bonus windfall for Palace from Eberechi Eze if Arsenal win title
Crystal Palace will not receive any extra payment from Arsenal if the Gunners go on to win the Premier League, despite rumours suggesting the Eberechi Eze deal included such a clause.
Reports on social media had claimed Palace could bank up to £10 million in bonuses linked directly to Arsenal lifting the title, but those suggestions have been dismissed.
As reported by Football London, there is no provision in Eze’s transfer that rewards Palace based on Arsenal’s domestic success. The England international joined the North London club in August 2025 for £67.5 million, with around £7.5 million of that figure structured as add-ons. However, those incentives are tied to other performance-related conditions, not to winning the league.
Crucially, Eze’s previous release clause had already expired before both Arsenal and Tottenham entered the race for his signature. Arsenal ultimately secured the playmaker by matching the earlier valuation and moving quickly in negotiations. As a result, suggestions that Palace are secretly cheering on Arsenal for financial reasons are unfounded, even if the Gunners are fully aware of the high stakes surrounding their title push.
