NK Kustošija Zagreb have rejected a series of bids for their rising star Rodolfo Aloko, with the Croatian outfit determined to retain the 18-year-old attacking midfielder despite increasing interest from several top European clubs.
Offers from Turkish giants Beşiktaş, Dutch contenders PSV Eindhoven, and Spain’s Sevilla FC have all been turned down, as none have met the release clause set by the Zagreb-based club.
According to sources close to the negotiations, the clause is reportedly valued at €4 million and includes a significant sell-on percentage in favour of Kustošija.
Aloko, who has enjoyed a breakout campaign, registered four goals and seven assists in just 16 appearances last season, a return that has attracted suitors from across the continent.
While interest has intensified in recent weeks, Kustošija are standing firm, refusing to part ways with the Beninese international unless the full financial terms are met.
“There have been multiple formal approaches, but none so far have matched the valuation stipulated in his contract,” a source told 229foot, confirming that discussions are ongoing but no agreement is imminent.
In addition to the trio of initial bidders, Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, Dutch powerhouse Ajax, Portuguese champions Benfica, and domestic rivals Dinamo Zagreb have also expressed serious interest in securing Aloko’s services.
Despite the flurry of attention, Kustošija remain focused on maintaining leverage in what is shaping up to be one of the more contested transfer sagas of the summer.
With the club adamant about enforcing Aloko’s release clause, negotiations are expected to continue deep into the window, particularly as other clubs weigh the potential long-term value of the teenage midfielder.
Aloko, who already boasts international experience with Benin, is viewed as one of the brightest prospects in the Croatian second tier.
His blend of vision, creativity, and composure on the ball has made him a standout performer, and his performances have not gone unnoticed by scouts from Europe’s top leagues.
For now, Kustošija Zagreb hold the cards — and unless a club is willing to meet their demands in full, Rodolfo Aloko will remain in Croatia as his reputation continues to rise.
