NK Kustošija have placed a €3.5 million valuation on Benin international Rodolfo Aloko, with interest mounting across Europe for the highly rated attacking midfielder.
Aloko, who joined the Croatian second-tier side in February 2025, has impressed during his short spell in Zagreb, recording four goals and seven assists in just 16 appearances.
His current contract runs until 2029, but the club is reportedly open to negotiating a transfer, provided their financial conditions are met.
Sources close to NK Kustošija indicate that the club’s sporting directors are prepared to sanction a deal this summer if an offer meets their €3.5 million asking price, which would also include a sell-on clause entitling Kustošija to a percentage of any future transfer involving the player.
The 18-year-old’s standout performances have not gone unnoticed. Clubs from across the continent have begun making formal approaches, although none have yet matched Kustošija’s valuation.
Early offers from Beşiktaş, PSV Eindhoven, and Sevilla FC were reportedly rejected in June, with the Croatian side standing firm on their price tag.
Aloko’s creative vision, technical ability, and maturity on the ball have drawn particular interest from top-tier clubs in some of Europe’s most competitive leagues. Premier League sides Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion are said to be closely following the midfielder’s development, viewing him as a long-term prospect with the potential to contribute immediately at senior level.
Further afield, Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt and Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam are also believed to be tracking Aloko closely. Portuguese champions Benfica and Croatian powerhouse Dinamo Zagreb are among the other clubs credited with serious interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
Despite the growing list of suitors, NK Kustošija remain committed to ensuring any departure reflects Aloko’s rising value and future potential. Club officials are reportedly optimistic that interest will intensify in the coming weeks, with negotiations expected to accelerate as the transfer window progresses.
Aloko’s quick rise has been one of the success stories of the Croatian football season. Since arriving in Zagreb earlier this year, the Beninese international has made an immediate impact, both in terms of goals and creativity, and has become a central figure in the club’s campaign. His versatility in attacking midfield roles, combined with his age and international experience, have made him a prime target for clubs seeking to invest in emerging talent.
While a final decision on his future remains pending, it is increasingly likely that Aloko will not remain at NK Kustošija much longer. The club’s openness to a sale, combined with the volume of interest already shown, suggests that the player is poised for a significant step forward in his career.
Until then, Kustošija continue to manage interest with caution, determined to secure the best possible outcome from what is expected to be one of the most closely watched deals of the summer transfer window.
