Nigeria international Raphael Onyedika is reportedly on the verge of joining Eintracht Frankfurt, with negotiations between the Bundesliga club and Club Brugge entering the final stages.

According to Belgian transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri, the deal is close to being completed after the midfielder gave his approval for the move, significantly accelerating talks.

Agreement edges closer

The report says Club Brugge are expected to receive around €10 million for the 24-year-old defensive midfielder, with both clubs working to finalise the transfer.

Negotiations gathered pace on Tuesday after Onyedika signalled his willingness to continue his career in Germany.

While the agreement has not yet been officially confirmed, the move is understood to be nearing completion.

Frankfurt rebuild for new season

Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to strengthen their squad as they prepare for the upcoming Bundesliga campaign.

The German club are seeking to reshape their team after missing out on European competition last season and view Onyedika as a key addition to bolster their midfield options.

Nigerian midfielder set for new challenge

Onyedika has established himself as one of Nigeria’s promising midfielders during his time with Belgian side Club Brugge, where his performances have attracted interest from clubs across Europe.

If the transfer is completed, the Super Eagles midfielder will begin a new chapter in the Bundesliga as Frankfurt continue their squad rebuild ahead of the new season.
