Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi scored twice on Thursday night to propel Fulham to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 in the English Premier League.
The talented forward started for the hosts today in their Round 14 encounter in the ongoing English top-flight league.
Just four minutes into the first half, Alex Iwobi showed his class and scored to give Fulham the lead.
That goal separated the teams at halftime although both teams created several other chances before the break.
Ten minutes into the second half, Carlos Baleba scored after he was set up by Joao Pedro to restore parity to the game.
Later in the 79th minute, an own goal from Matt O’Riley restored the lead for Fulham after the team showed impressive resilience.
A few minutes to full-time, Alex Iwobi who had been a star for his team throughout the game netted his second to complete an impressive brace.
His strike sealed a delightful 3-1 win for Fulham at home as Brighton went home without a point.
