Victor Osimhen Linked With Tottenham and Manchester United Transfer Interest

Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as the latest club to show interest in Nigeria international Victor Osimhen, with the striker’s future once again becoming a major talking point ahead of the new season.

According to the BBC, the north London club are closely monitoring Osimhen’s situation at Galatasaray and could decide to step up their interest in the coming weeks. The Premier League side have now joined a growing list of admirers tracking the prolific forward.

Manchester United are also continuing to follow the Nigerian striker closely.

The BBC reports that the Old Trafford club remain determined to strengthen their attacking options, with the signing of a proven goalscorer regarded as one of their priorities during the transfer window. United’s interest is said to be stronger than during previous attempts to recruit the forward.

As a result, an official approach from either Tottenham or Manchester United cannot be ruled out in the weeks ahead as both clubs assess their options before the transfer window closes.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray in the summer of 2025 and remains under contract with the Turkish club until 2029, placing them in a strong position should interest develop into formal negotiations.

The Nigerian international enjoyed an outstanding 2025-26 campaign, scoring 41 goals and providing 10 assists in 52 appearances

. Those numbers have further enhanced his reputation as one of Europe’s most effective centre-forwards and continue to attract attention from clubs seeking a reliable source of goals.

For Tottenham, the reported interest reflects their continued search for a recognised striker capable of leading the attack consistently following Harry Kane’s departure.

Osimhen’s goalscoring record suggests he possesses the qualities required to make an immediate impact should a move to the Premier League materialise.

Galatasaray, however, remain under little pressure to part with one of their most valuable players. With Osimhen tied to a long-term contract until 2029, the Turkish champions are in a favourable negotiating position and can afford to resist offers that fall below their valuation.

The reported interest from Manchester United could also increase competition for the striker’s signature, leaving Osimhen’s future as one of the transfer stories to watch in the weeks ahead.
