Nigerian striker Victor Boniface is not considering leaving Bayer Leverkusen this summer, according to his agent, Emefie Aneke.

Speaking to Bild newspaper, Emefie Aneke said the forward is on vacation, rewinding, and there are currently no talks with any other club.

“Victor has ended the season after his trip to the national team. He’s now on vacation, will train hard during his vacation, and then return for preseason. There’s a new coach, a new setup, but still a very good team that’s back in the Champions League. Victor and I have never discussed a transfer.

“We haven’t spoken to any other club. At the moment, there are no thoughts of leaving Leverkusen. Of course, you never know in football, but Victor loves playing for Leverkusen,” Aneke said.

If he stays, Victor Boniface will fight for a starting spot in Bayer Leverkusen’s first eleven with Patrick Schick next season.

Clubs who want to secure his services this summer will have to pay at least 50 million euros in transfer fees.
