Turkish giants Galatasaray and Trabzonspor are both reportedly eyeing a summer move for KRC Genk’s Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare.
Galatasaray, the reigning Süper Lig champions, see Arokodare as a potential alternative should they fail to secure a permanent deal for Victor Osimhen.
The Napoli striker, who joined the club on loan last September, remains their priority, but he is believed to favor a move to the Premier League.
Trabzonspor Rekindle Interest in Arokodare
Trabzonspor had previously attempted to sign Arokodare last summer, but negotiations stalled due to Genk’s asking price.
Now, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac, the club is prepared to revisit their pursuit of the striker as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Arokodare, 24, has enjoyed a standout season for Genk, netting 20 goals and registering seven assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, and with both Turkish clubs keen, a summer transfer battle could be on the horizon.
Arokodare’s International Prospects
Beyond his club form, Arokodare has also made an impression on the international stage, representing Nigeria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
His growing profile could further fuel interest in his services as the summer window approaches.
With Galatasaray and Trabzonspor closely monitoring his situation, the coming weeks could prove decisive in determining the next step in Arokodare’s career.
