Nigerian striker Kingsley Eduwo begins new chapter with ES Sahel

Nigeria centre-forward Kingsley Eduwo has joined Tunisian Ligue 1 side ES Sahel from Jordanian club Al-Ramtha SC.

The 30-year-old completed the move on 20 September 2026 after a short spell with Al-Ramtha, having joined the Jordanian Pro League club from Egypt’s El Masry earlier in the month.

Eduwo arrives in Tunisia with experience of the country’s top flight and a record of winning domestic honours. He was part of the Esperance Tunis side that won the Tunisian championship in the 2021-22 season, while he also lifted the Tunisian Cup with CS Sfaxien in 2020-21.

His most recent honour came with El Masry, when he won the Egyptian League Cup during the 2025-26 campaign. Eduwo joined El Masry from Algerian club ES Setif in September 2025 in a free transfer, before moving on to Al-Ramtha at the start of September 2026.

The forward began his senior career in Nigeria, moving from Gateway United to Sunshine Stars in 2013 and then joining Lobi Stars two years later. He switched to CS Sfaxien in January 2018, beginning a period that took him across several leagues in North Africa and the Middle East.

Eduwo spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Iraq’s Al-Najaf FC before returning to CS Sfaxien. He later moved to the United Arab Emirates to join Al-Orooba, then signed for Esperance in January 2022. A move to Qatar’s Al-Arabi followed in August that year, with his subsequent transfer to Club Africain completed in July 2023.

The striker then moved to ES Setif in January 2025, before his spell in Egypt and the brief switch to Jordan. His latest move brings him back to Tunisia, where his previous honours include league and cup success.

Eduwo is listed at 1.80m and favours his right foot. He joins ES Sahel as an experienced centre-forward after his transfer from Al-Ramtha SC was completed on 20 September 2026.
