Nigerian star, Victor Osimhen was on target for Galatasaray on Monday evening, helping his team to secure a narrow 2-1 victory against Rizespor in the Turkish Super League.
The forward started for his team today in the Round 23 encounter of the league campaign at Çaykur Didi Stadyumu.
On the matchday, the Super Eagles forward bagged a sensational second-half brace to earn all three points for his team.
Victor Osimhen scored his first in the 47th minute after he was assisted by Przemyslaw Frankowski.
Less than 10 minutes later, Rizespor equalised to restore parity to the encounter thanks to a strike from Ali Sowe who was set up by Babajide David Akintola.
Late in the 86th minute, Victor Osimhen showed his quality and an eye for goal, finding the back of the net with a smart finish to seal a 2-1 win for Galatasaray at the end of the 90 minutes.
After his goal on Monday, the Nigerian now has 14 goals and four assists after making 18 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig.
He is expected to be part of the Nigeria squad that will be assembled by coach Eric Sekou Chelle for the March international break.
