Nigeria international Moses Simon is on the verge of joining newly promoted French Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC after completing his medical on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old is joining Paris FC on a permanent deal for a transfer fee around €7 million from fellow French outfit Nantes.
With his medical completed, only formalities now remain for Simon to be announced as a new player for the French capital club.
He made 32 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 8 goals and registering 10 assists. His 18 goal contributions equate to 46% of the goals Nantes scored last term.
Paris FC are keen on strengthening their squad for their maiden French Ligue 1 campaign as they seek to make a meaningful impact next season.
Simon is expected to end his five-year stay at FC Nantes as he closes in on Paris FC move this summer.
During his time at Nantes, Simon helped the club stave off relegation and also reach back-to-back Coupe de France finals in 2022 and 2023. The first of which the club won, beating OGC Nice, and claiming the club’s fourth.
