Nigeria winger Daniel Etor switches to Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel

Nigeria winger Daniel Etor has joined Shabab Al-Sahel from Al-Shabab Club, completing a move to the Lebanese Premier League on 20 September 2026.

The 33-year-old left winger arrives after spending part of the 2025-26 season with Al-Shabab Club. Etor joined the club from Bahrain’s Bisha FC on a free transfer on 2 February 2026, before moving on to Shabab Al-Sahel later that year.

Etor began his senior career in Nigeria and has since built experience across clubs in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. His previous Nigerian sides include Supreme Court, ABS FC, Niger Tornadoes, Akwa United, Enyimba Aba and Rangers, while his more recent clubs include Al-Nasr, Muscat Club, Al-Suwaiq, Al-Qasim SC, Sur SC, Sohar SC, Oman Club and Bisha FC.

He won the Nigerian championship with Enyimba Aba during the 2014-15 season. Etor joined Enyimba from Niger Tornadoes in January 2015 and later moved to Rangers in December 2016.

The left-footed attacker has recorded 71 appearances, 13 goals and four assists in the Nigerian Professional Football League. He has also made 41 appearances in the Jindal League, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists.

His continental experience includes appearances in the Caf Champions League and Caf Confederation Cup, as well as two matches in AFC Cup qualifying. Etor has also been listed in the Iraq Stars League during his career.

Born on 5 May 1993, Etor brings experience from several leagues and a playing history that stretches back to his early career in Nigeria. He joins Shabab Al-Sahel as a left winger following his departure from Al-Shabab Club.

The transfer was completed on 20 September 2026, with Etor now registered with Shabab Al-Sahel in Lebanon.
