Nigeria’s coach, Stephen Keshi, has included Shola Ameobi and Obafemi Martins in the squad for the friendly match against Venezuela on November 14. Shola Ameobi, who has made appearances in England’s youth teams, is being called up for the first time to represent Nigeria. Obafemi Martins is making a return to the national team after more than two years. The friendly match against Venezuela in Miami is part of Nigeria’s preparations for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). The squad also includes other expatriate players from various European clubs.
