Nigeria international Victor Osimhen is willing to join Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Osimhen is currently on a season-long loan spell with Turkish giants Galatasaray from Napoli after failed move to Chelsea and Al Hilal last summer.
With a permanent signing proving impossible for Galatasaray, Osimhen is expected to leave the side in the summer and return to parent club Napoli.
Since joining Galatasaray, the Nigerian international has proven to be one of Europe’s best forwards, scoring 19 goals in 24 appearances.
He ended his two-game scoring drought for Galatasaray with a crucial brace against Rizespor to seal an important 2-1 win on Monday.
According to reports, the Premier League outfit and Napoli agreed on a January only for Osimhen to turn down the move, as the Nigerian forward fancies a move to the Red Devils in the summer.
Manchester United willing to trigger his €75 million release clause at Napoli to secure his signature.
However, whether Manchester Unkited will be able to sign Osimhen in the summer is doubtful. The Nigerian is on a significant wage and has so far shown no inclination to take a pay cut, while the club’s expected lack of Champions League football is likely unappealing.
