Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has confirmed the availability of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen for the Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.
In high-stake clash on Wednesday, the Turkish giants will take on the Spanish football heavyweights, with both teams seeking for victory to better their chances of progressing to the knockout stage of the competition.
Osimhen had raised fitness concerns on his return to the club after limping off during Nigeria’s semi-final defeat to hosts Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
But Galatasaray can heave a brief sigh of relief, with coach Buruk confirming his availability for the upcoming clash.
Osimhen has swiftly return to training with the Turkish giants and is expected to lead the line against Atletico Madrid.
“Osimhen joined the squad yesterday. He trained with us, and it was a good training session,” the Galatasaray boss said.
The Nigeria international has been outstanding since joining the Turkish club on a permanent from Napoli after a successful loan spell last season.
