Nigeria star Victor Osimhen convincing compatriot Ademola Lookman to join Galatasaray

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen wants his compatriot Ademola Lookman to join him at Galatasaray as the winter window approaches.

Lookman, who plies his trade for Atalanta remains keen about departure after missing out on a move during the summer transfer window.

The former African Footballer of the Year has been receiving admiring glances from several clubs including the Turkish giants.

And according to reports, Osimhen has been putting words in the ears of Lookman and make the move to join him at Galatasaray.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray are said to be leading the race for the services of the enterprising Nigerian winger.

“If you want to come, Galatasaray is a great home and would be the right place for you…” said Osimhen as quoted by Turkish outlet A Spor.

Osimhen has impressed since joining permanently, scoring 12 goals in 16 matches this season, while Lookman has two goals and an assist in five games.

The pair are expected to play a huge role for the Nigeria national team as they seeks to make a meaningful impact at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
