Nigeria star Ademola Lookman set salary terms as Galatasaray rekindle interest
Turkish giants Galatasaray have rekindled their interest in Nigeria international Ademola Lookman as the January transfer window approaches.
Lookman, who plies his trade for Atalanta remains keen about departure after missing out on a move during the summer transfer window.
However, the Turkish giants has re-established contact with Lookman’s representatives following an unsuccessful attempt to secure his signature in the summer.
According to reports, Lookman held talks with his compatriot Victor Osimhen over his potential switch to Galatasaray before submitting his salary demands to the club.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year is said to be demanding twice of his current wage at the Italian outfit.
Galatasaray are preparing a formal offer to test Atalanta’s resolve for the Nigerian international, who remains a top target for the Turkish giants.
Lookman recently ended his goal drought at Atalanta following his strike against AC Milan in the Italian top-flight.
The 25-year-old now has one goal in five Serie A appearances after reclaiming his spot in the Atalanta set up.
