Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has said his final goodbye to Italian outfit Atalanta after switching to Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid.
The enterprising attacker secured a transfer deadline day move to the Spanish club, bringing an end to a memorable three-and-a-half-year spell with the Italian side, a period that firmly established him as one of the club’s modern greats.
His time in Bergamo was crowned by a historic achievement in 2024, when he inspired Atalanta to their first-ever UEFA Europa League title.
The Nigerian international delivered a performance for the ages in the final, scoring a sensational hat-trick to seal the trophy and etch his name into European football history.
