Nigeria legend Sunday Oliseh hails Ademola Lookman after Champions League exploit

Nigeria legend Sunday Oliseh has showered praise on Ademola Lookman following his decisive role in Atletico Madrid’s Champions League triumph over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.

Lookman, who joined the Spanish outfit in the winter window was on target as his outfit succumbed to a 2-1 home defeat. Despite the setback, the Rojiblancos advanced to the semifinals of the competitions, having secured a 2-0 away win in the first leg.

The Nigerian forward’s latest European contribution has taken his Champions League tally to eight goals, becoming the third all-time Nigerian top scorer in the competition after Victor Osimhen and Obafemi Martins.

However, the former Nigeria head coach has expressed his admiration for Lookman following his explosive and matured display against Barcelona.
