Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen reportedly owed two months’ salary at Galatasaray
Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has reportedly not received his salary for January and February following his high-profile move to Galatasaray S.K.
Osimhen completed a blockbuster permanent transfer from SSC Napoli for a reported fee of €75 million, becoming one of the most expensive signings in the club’s history. The Nigerian striker is said to be earning a gross annual salary of €21 million under the terms of his contract.
However, fresh reports circulating in Turkey suggest that the 25-year-old has yet to receive payment for the first two months of 2026. The reasons behind the alleged delay have not been officially disclosed by the club.
Osimhen’s move to Galatasaray was seen as a major statement of intent, with the Istanbul giants banking on his goal-scoring prowess to strengthen their domestic and European ambitions. Despite the off-field uncertainty, the Super Eagles forward remains a central figure in the team’s attacking setup.
Neither the player nor the club has publicly commented on the situation as speculation continues in the Turkish media.
