Nigeria international Umar Sadiq is advocating for an unwavering support for the Super Eagles following qualification to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles has secured a spot at the 2025 AFCON tournament after finishing on top of Group D in the recently concluded qualifiers.
The 27-year-old, who missed a chunk of the qualifiers due to injury has called on Nigerians to rally behind the team.
“Nigerian fans should keep supporting the Super Eagles” he told Tribal Football in an interview.
Sadiq is back from injury and is expected to play a huge role for Real Sociedad in the ongoing campaign.
Meanwhile, the talented forward has set sights on making the Nigeria squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco.
“Of course. It is always a dream to represent Nigeria” he said.
The Nigeria international has made 7 appearances in the ongoing Spanish La Liga campaign.
