Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has a preference of joining Inter Milan among other clubs in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old, who is set for a permanent departure this summer has attracted significant interest in Europe, with Inter Milan and Napoli expressing keen interest in the Atalanta star.
According to reports, Lookman is solely focused on joining Inter Milan this summer, turning down an offer worth €5 million per year from fellow Serie A club Napoli.
Lookman has already given Inter a verbal agreement for a deal running until 2030, with a salary of €4.5 million that could rise to €5 million with bonuses.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan continues negotiations with Atalanta, hoping to lower the €50 million asking price. Per reports, the structure of the bonuses may be the key to finalizing the transfer.
For the record, the 27-year-old Lookman played 40 club matches during the 2024/25 season, scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists.
Lookman joined the club in August 2022 and has since established himself as a key member of the team, playing an instrumental role in the club’s UEFA Europa League success in the 2023/24 season.
