Nigeria international Leon Balogun says he will welcome a move to Saudi Arabia after several years in Europe.
The 36-year-old, who currently plies his trade for Scottish giants Rangers has spent almost his playing career in Europe, featuring for Brighton in England, Mainz, Werder Bremen and Hannover in Germany.
According to Balogun, he is ready to take next step of his career by moving to Saudi League provided he gets the right offer.
“I will definitely not ignore it, if the right offer comes, not only for me but for my family as well, I might think about it carefully.”
“So far I have not received anything, but let’s see what happens if I get an offer.”
Balogun continued, “I like to be clear and honest, money is a very important part of making such decisions.”
He explained: “Last year, a handful of players headed to the Saudi League, and at the same time they are trying to build something, so that this league will be more competitive and attractive over the next 5 or 6 years.”
Balogun has made 19 appearances for Rangers this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist across the period.
At the national level, the experienced has made 46 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, scoring one goal in the process.
