Nigeria centre-back Suleiman Yusuf joins CS Dinamo Bucuresti from Katsina United

Nigeria defender Suleiman Yusuf has joined CS Dinamo Bucuresti from Katsina United on a free transfer, taking the 19-year-old centre-back from the NPFL to Romania’s Liga 2.

Yusuf’s move to CS Dinamo Bucuresti was completed on 26 August 2026. He leaves Katsina United after a spell in Nigeria’s top-flight competition and begins a new chapter with the Romanian club.

The centre-back was born on 18 January 2007 and is listed as a Nigeria international by nationality. His senior playing experience includes one NPFL appearance, totalling 56 minutes.

The transfer gives Yusuf his first move outside Nigeria and places him in a different domestic football environment, with CS Dinamo Bucuresti competing in Romania’s second tier. The switch also represents a change in league level from the NPFL, where his previous club competed, to Liga 2.

Yusuf joins CS Dinamo Bucuresti as a defender whose primary position is centre-back. The move was completed without a transfer fee, allowing the Romanian side to add the young Nigerian to its squad following his departure from Katsina United.

His transfer record places the move in the 2026-27 season and confirms the progression from Katsina United to CS Dinamo Bucuresti. Yusuf has now officially completed his free transfer to the Romanian club.
