According to the FIFA calendar for friendly matches on November 14 and 15, Niger is set to face Togo in preparation for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). Both nations, qualified for the 29th edition of the competition, will use this match to hone their skills.
Niger, making its second appearance in the CAN, is in Group B alongside Ghana, DR Congo, and Mali. Mena will play its first match against Mali on January 20 in Port Elizabeth.
Togo is in Group D with Ivory Coast, Tunisia, and Algeria. Emmanuel Adebayor and his team will face Didier Drogba and Ivory Coast for their first match on January 22 in Rustenburg.
