The agent of Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson, Ali Barat, has disclosed that the player will decide his future at the end of the season.
The forward signed for FC Bayern Munich on loan from Chelsea until the end of the 2025/26 season during the summer transfer window.
Although Bayern Munich have the option of permanently signing Jackson for a fee of €65 million, several reports in the past few months have indicated that the German giants will not trigger the option.
Amid uncertainty about the future of Jackson, his agent Ali Barat has provided some clarity.
Speaking to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the agent said he will sit with the forward at the end of the season to make the best decision for his future.
“I think the season is still very young. Nico is at the Africa Cup of Nations; he has a long season ahead of him with Bayern, and he has the Champions League to play in. Therefore, I think it’s still very early to answer this question. Nico and I will sit down at the end of the season, review all the options, and then make a decision together,” Barat said.
Since signing for Bayern Munich, Jackson has scored five goals and provided one assist after making 18 appearances in all competitions.
He has scored two goals in one match for Senegal at the end ongoign 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
