Nicolas Jackson: Senegal-Gambia Forward at Chelsea Linked with Besiktas Move

Nicolas Jackson, the Senegal and Gambia international centre-forward currently at Chelsea, is being linked with a move to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas in the latest twist of the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old remains under a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, with his deal running until 30 June 2033, a factor that would likely make any agreement complex and potentially costly for the Istanbul club. Jackson is currently valued at around €40 million, giving an indication of the scale of negotiation required if Besiktas decide to formalise their interest.

Besiktas are understood to be exploring attacking reinforcements as they look to strengthen their squad for domestic and European challenges, and Jackson’s profile as a central striker has placed him on their radar. The prospective move would represent a significant change of environment for the forward, swapping the Premier League for the Super Lig.

Jackson, who operates primarily through the middle, has been part of Chelsea’s attacking options during their recent campaigns, and his contractual security means the London club are under no pressure to sell. Any talks would therefore hinge on Besiktas’ willingness to meet Chelsea’s valuation and the player’s openness to a switch away from English football.

For now, Jackson remains a Chelsea player on a contract that runs deep into the next decade, with interest from Besiktas still at the rumour stage rather than an active, advanced negotiation.
