Nicolas Jackson future ‘open’ as agent responds to Bayern Munich decision
The future of Nicolas Jackson has been thrown into fresh uncertainty after his representative issued a measured but telling response to Bayern Munich’s decision not to make his loan move permanent.
The Senegal international, currently on loan from Chelsea, had been widely expected to earn a longer stay in Germany following a productive campaign.
However, Bayern’s sporting leadership has opted against activating the purchase clause, with director Max Eberl confirming the club’s stance over the weekend.
That announcement prompted a swift reaction from Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, who suggested the striker’s next move remains undecided despite his strong performances this season.
“Nicolas Jackson is having an excellent season: 28 games played 10 goals Champion of Africa, champion of Germany, and also qualified for the final.
“Bayern Munich did not wish to lift the purchase option, and Nico remains 100 per cent focused on the Champions League semi-final against PSG, a very important moment for him and the club.
“Bayern is a very large Institution; the most important thing is to win as many trophies as possible before the end of the season.
“The future… who can predict? Trust the Process, Everything Is Possible.”
Kamara’s remarks underline both satisfaction with Jackson’s contribution and a refusal to close any doors ahead of the summer transfer window.
While Bayern’s decision brings clarity to one aspect of the situation, it simultaneously opens up a range of possibilities for the forward, who is still contracted to Chelsea.
Jackson’s campaign in Germany has been marked by steady output and involvement in key fixtures, helping Bayern compete on multiple fronts.
His development during the loan spell has also enhanced his profile, potentially attracting interest from other European clubs should Chelsea decide against reintegrating him into their plans.
