OGC Nice manager Franck Haise has confirmed that Algeria international Hicham Boudaoui will not be available for his outfit upcoming game against Olympique Marseille.

In a high-stake clash this weekend, Nice will lock horns with Marseille, with both teams yearning for maximum points to better their positions on the league standings.

Boudaoui’s absence is expected to affect Nice, having established himself as a key member of the Marseille squad. This season, the 26-year-old midfielder has made eleven appearances in the French Ligue 1, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.

Nice will have to battel for points without several key players, including the Algeria international. He joins captain Dante, who’s been struggling to get back to full fitness after barely training in the past six weeks on the sidelines.

Additionally, former Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé remains out of action, with the latter nearing a return after long-term absence.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Abdelmonem and Youssouf Ndayishimiye are expected to return to first-team training at the start of 2026, after suffering ACL injuries.

Moise Bombito is also on the road to recovery, with a return expected in 2026, but not at the start of the calendar year.
