Young Belgians from Soignies had an unforgettable experience last Saturday in London. They had the opportunity to attend the Tottenham vs. Fulham match (3-1) and even meet some of the Spurs stars, including Verthongen, Chadli, Dembele, and Hugo Lloris.
However, the highlight of the day for these youngsters was meeting Emmanuel Adebayor. This special encounter was made possible thanks to Daré Nibombé, a Togolese defender playing for RBDB (Royal Bossu Dour Borinage), a Belgian D2 club. Nibombé, who has been Adebayor’s teammate in the national team for a decade, arranged the meeting. “They wanted to meet ‘Manu,’ and when I called him, he graciously accepted,” Nibombé shared.
“The children were warmly welcomed in London at his request and were fortunate enough to meet him in person after the match. It brought me great joy,” added Nibombé.
