Former Chelsea and Leicester City star N’Golo Kante has initiated the construction of a medical center in Mali as part of his charity work.
Kante, who opted to represent France at the international level at the expense of Mali is funding the entire project, allocating a whopping 5 million dollars to ensure a smooth completion of the project.
It is worth noting that Kante has previously demonstrated his commitment to charity. He has invested in the construction of schools and kindergartens in Mali.
Born and raised in France, the enterprising midfielder has Malian roots as his parents hail from the African country.
Since 2023, Kante has been playing in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Ittihad. In the current season, the 34-year-old Frenchman has every chance to become the country’s champion, as his club is 4 points ahead of their main rival, Al-Hilal.
He last represented the France national team at the 2024 European championship, where Spain emerged as champions.
