Nigeria striker Promise David has emerged as a transfer target for newly promoted French Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC.
Having secured promotion, Paris FC are looking to strengthen their squad in order to make a meaningful impact in the French top-flight next season.
Promise is coming off a breakout season in Belgium, having scored 21 goals and delivered 5 assists in 39 matches across all competitions for Union Saint-Gilloise.
Known for his physical presence, the Brampton-born forward is reportedly high on the list of priorities for the new Paris FC hierarchy – backed by Red Bull and the Arnault family, whose recent investment has reshaped the club’s ambitions.
While names like Lucas Stassin (Anderlecht) and Gaëtan Perrin (Auxerre) have also been linked, David has emerged as the priority target for the No.9 role. Lille, who are preparing for life without Jonathan David, have also been linked to the Canadian.
The 23-year-old’s current contract with the Belgian outfit is expected to elapse in the summer of 2027.
