Newcastle United are interested in signing France forward of Congolese descent, Randal Kolo Muani.
Sources have indicated that the English Premier League club has made the striker their priority transfer target ahead of the start of the new football season.
This comes after the club failed in their bid to sign striker Benjamin Šeško, who has agreed to join Manchester United.
Kolo Muani, signed by Paris Saint-Germain in a €95 million move in 2023, has struggled to establish himself in the French capital. However, a loan spell with Juventus in the second half of the 2024/25 campaign saw him rediscover his form, reigniting interest from top clubs.
While Newcastle lead the chase, they are also weighing up other attacking options, including PSG’s Gonçalo Ramos, Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
The 26-year-old is also on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, who have admired him for some time and may yet enter the race to secure his signature.
