Football fans in Algeria can start marking their calendars as the country’s top-tier league gears up for another action-packed season.
The Algerian Football Federation has officially announced that the 2025–2026 professional league campaign will kick off on 21 August.
In a statement released Thursday evening, following a meeting held by the executive office the day before, the federation confirmed all preparations are in motion to ensure a smooth start.
Player movements will be in full swing from 1 July, when the summer transfer window officially opens. Clubs will have until 31 August to finalize their squads for the new season.
Meanwhile, the amateur division is also set to resume, with 6 September marked for its return to action.
As the current season nears its end, all eyes will be on the decisive 30th round, which will be played over two days, 20 and 21 June, likely shaping the final standings and title race.
