New request from Koller in Al-Ahly before facing Tunisian Esperance in the African final
Marcel Koller, the Swiss head coach of the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, has requested from his coaching staff a technical report on the match between Tunisian teams Esperance and Etoile du Sahel, which took place yesterday evening as part of the Tunisian League.
Koller Requests Technical Report on Esperance vs. Etoile Match
Esperance Tunis won 3-2 against Etoile du Sahel; the goals for Esperance were scored by Rodrigo, Houssem Ghacha, and Yassine Meriah, while Raki Al-Awani and Salah Berrahma scored for Etoile du Sahel in the 13th and 68th minutes, respectively.
With this result, Esperance tops the table of the championship stage with 17 points, five points ahead of their closest pursuer, Union Monastir.
A reliable source confirmed that Marcel Koller watched the Esperance match yesterday and requested all the details about the game, including the lineup and player statistics, to start studying the report on the opponent, which includes all the information about Esperance’s strengths and weaknesses.
The source explained that Koller asked for every detail about Esperance Tunis during this period to study the opponent well and devise the appropriate plan before the first leg match scheduled for next Saturday at the Radès Stadium.

Al-Ahly will face Esperance Tunis in the first leg of the African Champions League final next Saturday at Radès Stadium before hosting the Tunisian team for the return leg at Cairo International Stadium on May 25th.
