Newly appointed Minister of Youth and Sports Gawhar Nabil has promised to ensure the completion of ongoing projects and files, building on the achievements made during the past period, in order to ensure the continuity and development of the youth and sports system in the country.
Nabil has officially assumed office, having being appointed the new Sports Minister following the cabinet reshuffle in the past few hours.
“I am proud of the political leadership’s confidence in entrusting me with this national responsibility, and I affirm that the coming period will witness close monitoring of all files and projects, to ensure the sustainability of development and enhance the level of services provided to youth and athletes.”
“We will continue to work as one team, with full coordination between all sectors of the ministry and the directorates of youth and sports in the governorates, in addition to cooperating with youth and sports bodies, to achieve a qualitative leap in the level of activities and services.”
“Empowering youth is the cornerstone for building the new republic, in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Nabil’s appointment comes in line with presidential directives aimed at strengthening investment in the youth and sports sectors, nurturing human capital, and creating an environment that allows young people to play a more active role in national development. The renewed focus is also expected to elevate Egypt’s sporting movement, open new horizons for growth, and reinforce the social and developmental impact of sports across the country.
