In a recent announcement, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) disclosed that Algeria is set to host an international friendly tournament from March 18 to March 28, 2024.
The tournament will take the form of a mini-championship featuring Algeria, along with South Africa, Bolivia, and Andorra, which replaces Albania.
The friendly tournament in Algeria, sponsored by FIFA, kicks off on March 21 with a match between South Africa and the Andorran national team at the 19 May Stadium in Annaba, starting at 22:00.
The second match of the tournament, scheduled for March 22, will see the Algerian national team facing Bolivia at the 5 July 1962 Stadium in Algiers, with the kickoff at 22:00.
The third encounter of the friendly tournament, on March 25, will feature Bolivia against Andorra at the 19 May Stadium in Annaba, starting at 22:00.
The four-nation friendly tournament concludes on March 26 with a match at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki. At 22:00, the Algerian team, known as the “Green and Whites,” will face the South African national team, which has earned a well-deserved spot in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) by defeating Ivory Coast.
