Ndubusi Moses Okeke: Nigerian defender returns to Right2Win SA on free transfer

Nigeria centre-back Ndubusi Moses Okeke has rejoined Right2Win SA from Podbrezova U19 on a free transfer. The 19-year-old defender returns to the academy set-up in his home country after a spell in Slovakia, where he gained experience in youth and league football.

Okeke, who stands at 1.98m and plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, moves back to Right2Win SA in a permanent deal following his departure from Podbrezova’s under-19 side. The switch finalises a two-year cycle that saw him first leave the Nigerian academy for Slovakia before making his way back this summer.

During his time with Podbrezova, Okeke featured in the I. Liga SD, making seven appearances and accumulating 440 minutes on the pitch. That exposure to European competition offers further development for a player still in the early stages of his career.

Okeke originally joined Podbrezova U19 from Right2Win SA in September 2025, leaving Nigeria to continue his football education abroad. Less than a year later, he has opted for a return to the environment where he first came through, linking back up with the Right2Win Sports Academy structure.

Born on 28 February 2007, Okeke now resumes his progression with the Nigerian side as a full member of Right2Win SA following the confirmed free transfer from Podbrezova U19.
