National Bank has taken big steps to strengthen its team for the upcoming season with the signing of two Ghazl El Mahalla SC players, Amr El-Gazzar and Mohamed Ashraf Ben Sharqi.
The club announced the moves on Wednesday as part of a wider recruitment strategy.
The team had already secured the services of Enppi pair Ahmed Amin Ofa and Mostafa Dowidar, along with goalkeeper Ahmed Tarek Soliman from Brokerage.
Club insiders say National Bank is also on the verge of announcing two more signings, Tala’ea El Gaish duo Ahmed Meteb and Yasser Wahid, in the coming hours.
In addition, the club’s management is in active talks to secure Pyramids FC midfielder Mahmoud Saber on loan. Saber’s recent spell at Smouha has impressed National Bank officials.
Head coach Tarek Mostafa has highlighted the need for an attacking midfielder to sharpen the team’s offensive play. He has recommended Saber to fill this crucial role as the club prepares for a competitive campaign.
