National Bank of Egypt make offer for FK Csikszereda winger Anderson Sierra

National Bank of Egypt have submitted an offer to Romanian club FK Csikszereda for Brazilian winger Anderson Sierra, with negotiations between the two clubs now under way.

FilGoal.com understands that the Egyptian side are discussing the possibility of signing the 27-year-old, who joined FK Csikszereda in 2024 after his contract with Santos came to an end.

Sierra has featured in all four of FK Csikszereda’s Romanian league matches this season, but has yet to score or provide an assist. The club are currently bottom of the Romanian league table, having collected no points from their opening four games.

The proposed move comes as National Bank of Egypt prepare for the start of the 2026-27 Egyptian Premier League campaign. They will begin their season against Abu Qir Fertilizers on Friday, 21 August.

Sierra has made 86 appearances for FK Csikszereda since arriving at the Romanian club. During that time, he has scored 11 goals and created 16 more.

Before moving to Romania, the Brazilian played for several clubs in his home country, including Santos, Santa Cruz and Maringa. His spell at Santos ended before he joined FK Csikszereda in 2024, and the Romanian side have remained his club since then.

National Bank of Egypt have now made their interest formal with an offer, although the negotiations have not yet been completed. The discussions will determine whether Sierra leaves FK Csikszereda before the Egyptian league season begins.

The club’s opening fixture against Abu Qir Fertilizers is scheduled for 21 August, giving National Bank of Egypt a limited period in which to conclude the deal and, if an agreement is reached, complete the player’s arrival ahead of the new campaign.

FK Csikszereda’s difficult start to the Romanian season has coincided with Sierra’s involvement in each of their four matches. Despite playing in every game, he has not registered either a goal or an assist so far this term.

The 27-year-old’s overall record at the Romanian club includes 11 goals and 16 assists from 86 appearances. His previous experience in Brazil includes spells with Santos, Santa Cruz and Maringa, before he continued his career in Romania.

The offer from National Bank of Egypt is therefore focused on securing the Brazilian winger as the Egyptian club finalise their preparations for the 2026-27 season. Further talks between the two sides are expected to establish whether Sierra will move to Egypt from FK Csikszereda.
