Nathan Zeze: Deportivo La Coruna linked with NEOM SC defender
Nathan Zeze, the France and Ivory Coast centre-back at Saudi Pro League side NEOM SC, has been linked with a move to Deportivo La Coruna.
The 21-year-old joined NEOM from French club FC Nantes on 31 July 2025 in a deal worth €20m. He has started the club’s only Saudi Pro League match of the 2026-27 season, completing the full 90 minutes.
Zeze’s current market value is listed at €20m, matching the fee NEOM paid for him last year. The defender’s contract with the Saudi club runs until 30 June 2030.
The potential move would see Zeze return to European football after only one season in Saudi Arabia. He came through Nantes’ youth system and made the step up to the first team in 2023 before leaving for NEOM.
Born in Nantes, Zeze has represented both France and Ivory Coast at international level, while his only recorded senior club appearance this season has come in the Saudi Pro League.
He was part of the Nantes Under-19 side that won the French Under-19 title in the 2022-23 campaign, before establishing himself as a senior defender with the club.
Any transfer would require an agreement with NEOM given the length of Zeze’s contract and the significant investment made in him last summer. For now, he remains a NEOM player and has featured in all of the club’s league action this season.
