Nathan Ngoumou: Cameroon-born Borussia Monchengladbach winger linked with RSC Anderlecht move
Cameroon-born French winger Nathan Ngoumou of Borussia Monchengladbach is being linked with a summer move to Belgian side RSC Anderlecht. The Jupiler Pro League club are monitoring the 26-year-old right winger as they explore wide attacking options ahead of the new season.
Ngoumou, who has a market valuation of around 3.5m and is under contract at Monchengladbach until 30 June 2027, would require a transfer fee for any deal to be struck. His contractual situation places the Bundesliga club in a strong negotiating position, with no imminent pressure to sell.
Since arriving in Germany from Toulouse on an 8m deal in August 2022, Ngoumou has featured regularly in the Bundesliga, making 71 league appearances and contributing eight goals and three assists. He has also appeared in the DFB-Pokal for Gladbach, adding a further goal and two assists in that competition.
Before his move to Germany, Ngoumou established himself at senior level in France, progressing through Toulouses youth ranks and into the first team. He was part of the side that won the French second tier title in 2021-22, a season that helped secure his subsequent switch to the Bundesliga.
Born in Toulouse and standing at 1.85m, Ngoumou is primarily deployed as a right winger and operates predominantly on his right foot. Holding both Cameroonian and French nationality, he offers clubs eligibility for multiple international pathways as his career develops.
For now, Ngoumou remains a Monchengladbach player, with Anderlechts interest focused on testing the German clubs resolve while the winger still has three years left on his current deal.
