Nathan Ngoumou: Borussia Monchengladbach winger linked with surprise Korona Kielce move
Cameroon-born French winger Nathan Ngoumou of Borussia Monchengladbach is being linked with a move to Polish Ekstraklasa side Korona Kielce. The 26-year-old, who operates primarily on the right flank, is under contract with the Bundesliga club until 30 June 2027, but interest from Poland has emerged ahead of the new season.
Ngoumou joined Monchengladbach from Toulouse in August 2022 for a reported €8m fee and has since accumulated significant Bundesliga experience. He has made 71 league appearances for the German side, scoring eight goals and adding three assists, offering depth across the attacking line.
Any negotiations with Korona Kielce are likely to be shaped by Ngoumou’s current estimated market value of around €3.5m and the length remaining on his deal, which places Monchengladbach in a strong position at the bargaining table. The German club invested in the winger after he helped Toulouse earn promotion as French second-tier champions in 2021-22, a season that raised his profile across Europe.
Born in Toulouse and standing at 1.85m, Ngoumou progressed through the French club’s youth system before making the step up to senior football and eventually into one of Europe’s top leagues. His ability to play off the right and his experience in both France and Germany make him an intriguing target for a Korona side seeking to add proven attacking options from abroad.
For now, Ngoumou remains a Monchengladbach player with a long-term contract, leaving Korona Kielce needing to reach an agreement with the Bundesliga club if they are to turn their interest into a concrete deal.
