Burkina Faso defender Nasser Djiga has officially started training with Wolverhampton Wanderers following his move to the Premier League club in the final hours of the winter transfer window.
The 22-year-old centre-back, who signed a five-year contract until 2030, arrived in England on Thursday and wasted no time in joining his new teammates on the training pitch.
With Wolves currently sitting 17th in the Premier League, Djiga’s addition comes at a crucial time as the club battles to avoid relegation.
Despite being new to the squad, the Burkinabe international, who has earned eight caps and scored once for his national team, showed composure and focus in his first session.
His presence is expected to strengthen Wolves’ defense as they push for a turnaround in the second half of the season.
