Serie A club Napoli are reportedly interested in out-of-favour Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and could propose a swap deal for Victor Osimhen.
The Super Eagles striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been linked with a move to Manchester United following the appointment of Ruben Amorim.
Despite a failed Premier League transfer last summer due to high demands from Napoli, talks have intensified over the past two weeks about a potential switch.
Napoli, previously firm on a cash-only deal for Osimhen, now appear open to including Rashford, whom they admire, in the negotiations.
Rashford, out of favour at Manchester United, is reportedly considering a departure from Old Trafford.
Osimhen, 25, has been in stellar form for Galatasaray, netting 12 goals and providing five assists in 15 appearances this season.
While the winter transfer window opens on January 1, it remains unclear whether the 2023 African Footballer of the Year will move mid-season or complete his campaign in Turkey.
