Carlo Ancelotti and Kalidou Koulibaly enjoy a very strong relationship. The Italian manager and Napoli coach therefore doesn’t foresee the Senegalese defender leaving at the end of the season, especially since he is a key element in his tactical setup.
When questioned by La Republica, Ancelotti completely ruled out Koulibaly leaving, even though the latter is increasingly rumored to be leaving at the end of the season.
“I have a very well-structured team with room for improvement. Our spine is solid: two invaluable goalkeepers, a reliable defense with a phenomenon like Koulibaly, a well-structured midfield with Allan, Zielinski, and Fabian Ruiz, and key players in attack. We are destined to develop with targeted investments in harmony with the club. The big names will stay; Napoli won’t be forced to sell and make a profit. Koulibaly too? Absolutely, he won’t be leaving ,” the Italian coach stated.
