Serge Gakpé will be absent from the FC Nantes squad for the League Cup round of 16 match against Lorient on Tuesday, as the Togolese midfielder has been rested by his coach. In addition to Gakpé, three other key players—Djordjevic (top scorer), Vizcarrondo, and Veretout—will also be given a break.
Nantes, currently holding the 4th position in Ligue 1, suffered a defeat against Lille on Friday, during which their Senegalese defender Papy Djilobodji received a red card.
The 18-man squad for the match against Lorient includes Zelazny, Riou, Cissokho, Djidji, Cichero, Veigneau, NDongala, Trébel, B. Touré, A. Touré, Nicolita, Bessat, Bedoya, Deaux, NKoudou, Aristeguieta, Pancrate, and Bangoura.
