Nantes explore move for Union Touarga midfielder Hossam Essadak

Moroccan attacking midfielder Hossam Essadak has been linked with a move from Union Touarga to French club FC Nantes.

Essadak, 21, currently plays for Union Touarga in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi, while Nantes are listed in Ligue 2. The potential move would take the midfielder from Morocco’s top-flight football to France’s second tier.

Essadak’s market value is estimated at €1m. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported as part of the rumour, and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.

The player’s listed position is attacking midfield, with Union Touarga remaining his current club. The link with Nantes was recorded on 16 August 2026, placing Essadak among the Moroccan players being monitored for a possible move to France.

For now, the transfer remains at the rumour stage, with Essadak still contracted to and playing for Union Touarga.
